It was announced earlier this year that Game of Thrones and The Mandalorian star Pedro Pascal will play the role of Joel.

Worst case scenario, it could come out at the beginning of 2023. With it ending in the summer of 2022, that means we could see the series premiere at the end of 2022. And filming is not expected to end until June of 2022. According to a production document that mentions The Last of Us, filming for the 10-episode series began in July 2021. There’s no official release date for The Last of Us right now, but there are some clues as to when it will come out.
